To my friend with prostate cancer – “I love you”

My dear friend whom I’ve known for 4 years now has prostate cancer.

He has been in remission since 1999… before I met him.

In the past few months, the cancer came back.

My dad, whom I don’t talk to, has the same cancer (recently diagnosed) and my friend’s PSA levels are higher than my Dad’s.

I guess I go through my friend to see how my Dad is doing.

Recently I found out that my friend’s cancer has spread…

We have become closer as if though he is the Dad friendship I wish I had!

I love you my dear friend and thank you for showing me the strength I hope to have when I have to say good-bye.
